The boat seats look amazing to me!

Bondo don't rush yourself really you are doing yourself a lot of good thinking about what you are going to do first. I wasted a LOT of fabric, foam and thread by just sewing. I never really got anywhere until John checked in on me and I got RESET.

Thanks All for the feedback. John, Yes all done on the with the Sailrite LS1. That seemed like the best option to begin with. I can't complain. I know nada about sewing machines and decided new was better as opposed to buying used and not know anything about what i am getting, and I heard Sailrite has great customer support.

@John is correct. There was a local embroidery shop that the boat owner found that did the embroidery. I just cut the vinal for that piece oversize, Marked the center and the bottom of where we wanted the letters and handed off to the owner. I was nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs while making my final markings to sew everything up, but it came out looking really nice. The project would not have been right without it. I think it cost the guy about $70. They had to take the logo and digitize it ($40 and took about a week). Them they just loaded it in their machine with my alignemnet marks and the machine did the work (another $30). Well worth it i think.

Just curious, what would you guys have charged for this project with this level of work.... again I am not a pro... lol! Everything in the pic with the taped up pieces, the captain's chair and two other cusions not shown....

Hey @vicstric just a tip. You can ask the embroidery for the digitized file and keep it for next time so you don't have to pay for digitizing again.
Haha yeah its always a little nerve wracking knowing you only have 1 shot to get it right.
I would say that's a 4-5 day job so some where around $3000+ is where I would be.

Haha no worries. You should be able to edit your post by clicking the little gear button on the top right. If not let me know I figure out how to make that available.
