Hello,

I am refurbishing a plywood chair that has the upholstery done on another plywood. The upholstered part then fits on the seat and the seat back with a plastic fitting that is screwed on the plywood that is on the chair and has ribs that are fit in a hole on the plywood of the upholstered part. I hope I am explaining it properly. I wish I can upload some pics.

Some of the plastic fittings broke when I was taking the seat apart. I am trying to find out what they are called and where I can buy replacement fittings.

Thanks,

The white plastic part is what I am looking for. It is screwed in on the other side and is pushed in the hole in the plywood you see for a push fit.

The size of the plastic is 20mm.

I think what @Revv Up is referring to, is commonly called a Christmas tree clip. It may work if you get on with the correct size, but I can’t say I’ve seen the part you’ve pictured.
