I want to remove these seat cushions to recover them from these chairs made in Canada. I tried screwdrivers and Allen wrenches but I believe it must be some specialized tool. Does anyone have any idea what will work? ( I believe I bought the table and chairs from Ethan Allen but not sure).

Those look like a combination drive where either a standard Phillips head or a Robertson bit (square bit) should work.

The Robertson would probably give a better grip. they do come in different sizes so you're best bet would be to go for a drive bit set. Should be able to find at any big box retailer or Harbor Freight as well as on line.
