So are few springs broke on my couch I now have the springs with clips for the wire that connects to the spring. What can I use to clamp the clip. I know I can buy $100 pair of pliers but is there something I can use in a pinch and not waste $100 bucks. TIA Jeff

If you’re talking about hog rings you can put them on with pump pliers (channel locks) …. It’s cumbersome but will get it done in a pinch

You can get hog ring pliers for a lot cheaper if you look on Amazon
