I currently have rock hard sofa cushions, so I wanted to replace the foam with a down/feather insert/envelope and inside that would be a thinner piece of HD foam and poly fiber stuffing. I have looked all over the internet and cannot find a video of someone making the envelope. When I cut the pieces for the envelope, should there be any sort of allowance? It seems like it should be a tiny bit smaller than the cushion cover. If so, how much? If I'm wrong, please tell me. I would also be really grateful for any tips or any other info I should take into consideration. Thank you so much.
