I agree steering wheels, not so much the wrapping but the modification aspect. Making them more sporty and the foams used to conture it’s shape.

@John,

Pattern making for the boxing of a seat cushion. It may be one of the more technical challenges of the seat coming up with a proper fit if you are starting from scratch.

I would like a video on steaming; how, where, what it fixes, where (if ever) not to steam. Maybe combined with getting tight wrinkle free fit. Vinyl and leather if there is a difference in the approach.

I'm only interested in marine interiors, that's it. When I was building boats in Tempe years ago I had a big issue finding people that could do a boat interior. I've built the wood frames for seats and side panels.,I had an old timer do a couple of interiors and he showed me how to build and set up a seat to be covered. Car guys just don't understand what a tack strip is, a staple going in to the side of plywood is better than a staple going down into plywood.
Boat interiors use scrim, most of the custom boats use 1/2", some do 1/4", Stitching a french seam with scrim might be a good one. The steamer would be good, I always saw them in the shop when I would pick up my interior.
Another one would be on foam. What density to use for the back and bottom.

A video on foam really interest me as I have a couple of projects that will need rear seat built from floor up! One will have a console from dash to rear ledge with likely two bucket seat that will match the looks of the front two. Another one doesn't have the back seat and I can't find one so will need to built :sweat_smile:

@Scott D Thanks for the great suggestions! I defiantly plan too expand the video content in to boats as well. I just dont currently have enough room to properly film working on a boat.

Thanks! @hapyrdr Building custom seats is on the top of the list. I'm just waiting for the right project and enough time to film it.

Custom Attachments. I'm sure there are lots of ways to attach custom panels. Velcro, dual lock, magnets, trim clips, ect. The best way to block out from the body- gluing wood to fiberglass.

Custom designs with ABS plastic. There is not one decent video out there regarding proper heating, gluing, bending or molding. I need to design vanity panels to go below and/or under the Coupe dashboard to hide some stuff and for accessory lights swiches. I have ideas so I guess I'll experiment.
