Not sewing related, but I am having trouble uploading image attachments. Getting an error that says the board attachment quota has been reached. Sound s like a forum level issue. I have tried various sized image files (as small as 141 KB) to no avail.

I am wondering if others are seeing the same thing or if @John is aware.

I am hoping to start a new 'thread' on my next Marine upholstery project, which will be picture intensive.

There is another option besides trying to upload images directly to this site and it generally would give you more control. And that is to host your images elsewhere (there are lots of sites, but SmugMug is the one I use most often) and then place your images using img tags. That's the 9th option on the formatting toolbar. This gives you more control because it's then easy to present your images in the order you want, and exactly where within your text you want the image(s) to appear.

And that way it's easy to keep descriptive text with each image.

This is an example:

So I can have text before and after the image(s).

I hope this is of help to you.

I seem to be able to upload images but not attachments like pdf files. Interesting. There was a time when i could, just not working now.@Mtl_Biker does the host work for pdf's too?

@Adam12 - I didn't know if SmugMug supported PDF files, so I made one and tried uploading it. It failed, with an unsupported filetype message. In any case, using the img tags here may not work with PDF files, so if you wanted to include one, I'd suggest you do it as a link to the file.

Sorry about that guys! I didn't realize there was a data limit on the forum that can be adjusted. My guy took care of it today. Everything should be working again now. Thanks for the heads up and patients.
