So, I have noticed a pretty common trend when people start learning how to do upholstery. That is that once people find out about your new talent you get asked to make some pretty strange things.

The strangest thing for me that comes to mind is marble bags. This customer found me in the yellow pages and wanted me to make these specific kind of marble bags made out of brown canvas for his marble collection.... I thought it was quite strange. But hey, he paid, so why not right...

Another strange one that comes to mind was this factory that made caps for perception pill bottles. They had me make these clear vinyl sleeves that went around the shoots to direct the caps coming out of the machine that made them. They said they worked great and prevented the caps from flying everywhere. Plus they ordered a bunch of these sleeves. Pretty random I though, but again, it payed, so why not right?

What strange stories do you guys have?

HaHa. Close. Its actually my sons. It's a um.....its kind of a noise maker/ something to keep his hands busy while he's in his car seat. The little bubbles pop back and forth like that the deals you press in on top of a cup to indicate what type of drink it is. He's 16 months old and loves cows so my wife got him this so he wouldn't get bored in the car. Seems to work great for that.
