I'm a rookie. Any advice on what size of curved needles to order and have on hand? I'm just looking to cover the basics. If find the more I learn the more I want to be prepared and have items on hand vs. ordering them and waiting a days before I can move forward. Thanks in advance.

That's a good plan! Plus needles are cheep. This is the kit I recommend. I have never needed anything else.
