My LU-563 manual indicates that the machine should be lubricated near the hand wheel area...my LU-563 doesn't have a lubrication port in that area. Is it possible that it has a sealed bearing in that position?

I do believe it has a sealed bearing

Yeah if there is no hole there it probably doesn't need oil or it has a wick that feed it form another lube hole.
