I am looking to cover the interior door on a 1967 mustang with vinyl. The doors are metal and have a wrinkle texture. They are typically painted. Does anyone know how to go about it. Scrim foam? Glue vinyl? and pictures or ideas?

Hi @OldschoolFE! Welcome to the forum!

I have never done a 67 mustang door panel. Can you please post a picture of your door panel and Ill do my best to give you some pointers.

I would just glue vinyl or leather right to that piece. If you start adding foam its going to get to thick. Also you may have to clearance the middle piece to account for the added thickness of the material.
