Hey everyone! I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for such a great start to this forum. Its only been a month and a half! I cant believe how much its grown already. A big thanks to all the people that join in on the conversation and a thanks to all the people that chose the just read and learn. Hopefully you will join the conversation when your ready.

The final result has been awesome!!! I have commented in the videos on Youtube, but I have to say again that you have been very patient to be able to remove the sunvisors without destroying them... it's not easy and cheap to upholster a car, and this is a very good example of what it takes to do it properly :wink: :wink:

You're welcome, and at the moment I don't intend to upholstery some sunvisors, but I like to see professionals working in as many project as I can because it helps me to get ideas to accomplish other things that need the same procedures :wink:

About upholstering some in leather, they would look great but I'm sure that they would need to have the sides thinned/skinned?, because if not, the result would not look as awesome as John's ones :relaxed:

Yessss!!!! My first project (car seats) and some others have all been with leather and I am getting used to the difficulties that it involves (but with lots of problems to get things right :disappointed_relieved: ) and after having seen others working with fabrics or other materials, even vinyl, I see that it does not seem to be as demanding as leather, and much less expensive to fix a problem or repeat a panel that has gone south! :joy: :joy: :rofl:
