Long time listener, first time caller situation here- thanks for the wealth of knowledge!!
I'm looking for any and all info on recovering a steering wheel- specifically patterning from scratch. I saw the video from Cechaflo- looks like they use a glue that I believe is heat activated? Any and all info on this is more than welcomed! Thanks in advance!

While not a steering wheel I once did a similar wrap on a motorcycle grab handle. I used Weldwood contact adhesive.

While again maybe not helpful but years back I ordered a steering wheel cover from Wheelskins.com which fit my '73 VW Beetle with the optional wheel perfectly. I realize it wouldn't be your handiwork but it might be an option?
